Two New Partners Named

Lathan Architects is very pleased to announce the naming of two new Partners in the firm, Samantha Wilson and Ryan Vernon. Their hard work, dedication and high caliber of work are evident in all they do. We are so proud to have them as part of the leadership of the company.


Samantha Wilson, AIA

Since joining Lathan Architects in 2011, Samantha has displayed exceptional dedication and service to our clients and projects. Her passion for design, attention to detail and genuine warmth are apparent to all that work with her.

Samantha earned a Drafting Degree from Faulkner State Community College in 2006. She went on to graduate from Auburn University in Architecture in 2011. Samantha is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, AIA and is a licensed architect in Alabama.

Her body of work while at Lathan Architects includes projects such as Athens Elementary School, Opelika Public Library, Erwin Middle School, Louis Pizitz Middle School and King Acura.

Ryan Vernon, AIA

Ryan joined Lathan Architects in 2016 bringing previous experience in designing a wide variety of projects. At Lathan Architects, his strong work ethic has enabled him to successfully deliver design excellence while meeting the unique needs of each client.

Ryan graduated from Auburn University in Architecture in 2006. He is a member of AIA, has been a licensed architect since 2011 and currently serves on the Trussville Design Review Board. Ryan is married and has two children.

His recent projects include Hueytown Intermediate School, Benjamin Russell High School and the Trussville Board of Education.
